Its wide mouth allows dosing beans in without them bouncing out and can also be used as a ground catcher to grind coffee into, and to comfortably remove any excess dose. It has a spout to help pour coffee beans directly into a grinder or ground coffee into a brewer (or both if you want!). We decided that two sizes – small to hold 30-40 grams or large to hold 60-80 grams – were better than trying to make something universal, so pick the one that suits your workflow.
